Casual dining

Every booking and every free table, on one screen.

You see today’s bookings from EasyTable beside your floor plan, so families and walk-ins get a table fast. Then your servers take the order and the payment at the table, on a phone.

Switching to Resto is free, and you can cancel at any time.

At the table

Take the order at the table.

Each server has the POS on a phone. The server picks the table, adds the dishes and taps Send. The grill, the cold kitchen and the bar each see only their own dishes, on a screen or on a ticket.

Notes
The server adds a note to a dish, for example no onions. The cook sees it on the ticket and on the screen.
A timer on each ticket
The kitchen screen shows how long each ticket has waited, so every table gets its food in turn.
The same orders everywhere
The phones, the tablet at the bar and the kitchen screens show the same orders at the same time.
About the kitchen display

Payment

Split it any way.

The server splits the bill on the phone and takes each card at the table with Tap to Pay. The family stays in their seats.

Three ways to split
Move items to separate checks, split one item into equal parts, or take a payment for part of the amount.
Move to another table
When a party moves from the bar to a table, the server moves their items with them.
Tap to Pay or a terminal
We set up Tap to Pay for you. Card terminals work too.

QR ordering

Guests order and pay from their table.

Each table has its own QR label. The guest scans it, orders from the menu on the phone and pays online. You see the order on the POS and in the kitchen with the table name.

Labels from the back office
You pick the tables and print a sheet of QR labels.
Ready to serve
When the food is ready, staff tap “Ready to serve table 7”, and the guest sees it on the phone.
Sold out
A dish that staff mark as sold out on the POS shows as sold out on the QR menu too.

Questions and answers

Do we need EasyTable?
No. Resto works without a booking system. With EasyTable, today’s bookings show beside the floor plan. See floor plan.
Can we have a lunch price?
Yes. You set it up once, for example 20 % off the mains, Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 14:00. In that window every order gets the discount on its own, on the POS and in QR ordering. The kids’ menu keeps its own price. See discounts.
What devices do we need?
Most restaurants start with a tablet at the host stand, phones for the servers and a screen or a printer at each kitchen station. With Tap to Pay, the server’s phone takes cards, so a card terminal is optional. See hardware.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The POS keeps taking orders and sends them to the kitchen over the local network. See offline.
How much does it cost?
Example prices are on the pricing page. There is no lock-in.
Do the staff need training?
Very little. Staff get going with minimal training, and we show them the basics on the first shift.
