Choices and extras

Every order, complete

In the back office you decide what must be chosen, how many choices are allowed and what costs extra. The server sees the options as soon as they pick the dish.

Required
If a choice is missing, for example the sauce, the line shows a warning on the check.
Up to 3
The POS allows no more choices than the maximum you set.
+200 kr.
Example: a 200 kr. extra adds to the price of the dish and shows on the receipt.
Seat 2
Each line can get a seat number, a course (for example starter or main) and a note for the kitchen.

Splitting the bill

Split it any way

Guests pay together or one by one. The server moves items to a separate check, splits one item into equal parts or takes part of the amount.

How payments work

Discounts

Discounts that apply on their own

Set up a happy hour or a lunch deal once in the back office. The POS applies it at the right times. Staff can also take money off one item or the whole check.

Peak time

Ready for a busy Friday night

The bar and the servers work on the same orders at the same time. You see an order from a server’s phone on the bar tablet at once, and its ticket prints at the right station.

  • Every order on one list

Table, guest count, time and total for each open order.

  • Ordering at the table

The server takes the order on a phone, right at the table.

  • Each ticket at its station

The grill, the cold kitchen and the bar each get their own ticket, set by category or by item.

  • Minimal training

Staff learn the POS in a few minutes, with minimal training.

Questions

Questions about the POS

What devices do I need?

An Android tablet, phone or card terminal. Get the devices through Origo, or use Android devices you already have. We go through the hardware with you before you start.

See the hardware Resto supports

Can I see who did what?

Yes. Each staff member signs in with their own PIN. Each order keeps a history of who did what, and when, on the POS and in the back office.

How to see who did what

What happens if the internet drops during service?

Service continues. The POS keeps taking orders and prints kitchen tickets on the local network, and a card terminal with 4G still takes cards. Data syncs when the connection returns.

What works offline

Can I keep my current card terminal?

Resto works with terminals from Teya and Adyen. We check your terminal with you before you start.

How do sales get into the accounts?

The shift manager closes the day on the POS. You then see the end-of-day report in your accounts in dk, Regla or Payday.

How end of day and accounting work

Is there a lock-in period?

No. You can cancel at any time and take your data with you.
