Happy hour and other discounts apply on their own
Set up the rule once in the back office. The POS takes the discount off the right items at the right time, and the end-of-day report shows what it cost.
Switching to Resto is free, and you can cancel at any time.
Automatic rules
Happy hour starts and stops on time
Choose the weekdays and the times. In that window every order gets the discount on its own, on the channels you choose: POS, kiosk, web or QR code.

Conditions you can set
- Items
- Chosen items or whole categories, or the whole check.
- Dates
- A first and a last day, for example an offer that runs for one month.
- Exceptions
- Days when the discount does not apply, for example Christmas Eve.
- Check total
- A minimum and a maximum check total.
- Customers
- Named customers or customer groups, for example staff or regulars.
- One at a time
- The discount can skip items that already have a discount.
On the POS
Staff discount an item or the whole check
For a dish that came out late, or for a large group. Staff choose percent, amount off or a set price, and the POS shows the new price at once.
- On an item
- Percent, amount off or a set price on one item.
- On the check
- Percent or amount off the whole check.
- Reason
- Staff can add a reason. The order history shows who gave the discount and when.
- Remove
- Staff can take an automatic discount off and put it back.
Reports
You see every discount in the end-of-day report
Each discount has its own line in the X and Z reports, with name, amount and count. In the back office you can find every order with a discount above a set amount.
AI Assistant
Ask the AI Assistant to set up the discount
Write, for example, “10 % off draft beer on weekdays from 16 to 18”. The AI Assistant shows you the rule and saves it when you approve.

- It creates new discounts and changes existing ones.
- It explains why a discount did or did not apply to an order.
