Food hall stalls

Serve the queue with one phone.

You take the order and the card payment at the counter, and the kitchen gets the ticket at once. Your stall has its own menu, its own sales and its own accounting.

Switching to Resto is free, and you can cancel at any time.

What this venue uses

The prices in the pictures are examples.

The kitchen

Every order with its number.

The kitchen gets the order the moment staff send it, on a printer or a screen. The ticket shows the order number, eat in or to go, and the notes on each dish.

A small printer
A small kitchen printer is enough for most stalls.
Or a kitchen screen
Each order on the screen has a timer and changes colour as it gets older, so the cook sees which order has waited longest.
About printers

At peak times

A shorter lunch queue.

A kiosk at your stall or ordering from the phone makes the queue shorter when it is busy. Both sell your menu and send the orders to your kitchen.

Self-service kiosk
The guest picks eat in or to go, sees the allergens and pays by card. The kiosk shows the order number.
Order from the phone
The guest orders on the phone and gets an SMS or an email when the food is ready.
You set the pace
Make the wait time longer, or pause new online orders for a while.

Sales and accounting

Your own sales and your own accounting.

Your stall is its own venue in Resto, with its own menu, reports and card payments.

Sales by hour
You see your lunch and dinner peaks clearly, also on your phone.
Accounting
The day’s sales show in your accounting system as one invoice, at the hour you choose.

Questions and answers

Can we run the stall with one phone?
Yes. The POS runs on an Android phone, takes cards with Tap to Pay and sends the orders to a small kitchen printer. A tablet and a card terminal work too, if you prefer. See the POS on a phone.
How do guests know that the food is ready?
The ticket and the kitchen screen show the order number, so staff can call it. The kiosk shows the guest the number. Guests who order from the phone get an SMS or an email.
Can we have a lunch price?
Yes. An automatic discount can apply at set hours on set weekdays, for example from 11:30 to 14:00 on weekdays. See discounts.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The POS keeps taking orders and prints the kitchen tickets on site. The changes sync when the connection returns. See offline.
How much does it cost?
Example prices are on the pricing page. There is no lock-in.
Do the staff need training?
Very little. Staff get going with minimal training, and we show them the basics on the first shift.
